Biographical history
In 1970, Adrien W. Tremblay was employed as the coordinator for the social animation program for the Association canadienne-française de l'Alberta. In the fall of 1970, Adrien submitted to the Faculty of Graduate Studies his thesis as part of the requirement for his Master of Education degree from the Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Alberta; the thesis was entitled “The development of scales from a pupil biographical inventory and their usefulness as predictors of academic achievement.”
Custodial history
The personal records of Adrien Tremblay originally came to the Provincial Archives of Alberta as part of PR1980.0226, the records of the Association canadienne-française de l'Alberta. The records were subsequently removed from that accession, and Adrien Tremblay retained some of the records.
Scope and content
The fonds consists of records relating to Adrien Tremblay’s thesis, “The development of scales from a pupil biographical inventory and their usefulness as predictors of academic achievement,” and includes a copy of his thesis, a draft of his thesis, and research notes and materials.
