          Part of Green and Peets Family fonds

          The series consists of financial roll-ups, equipment manuals, schedules insurance documents, grower’s receipts, Canadian National livestock records, and other material that document the core functions and daily operations of the running of Greenridge Farm over its history. The audiovisual records consist of photographs and negatives of the farm and farming equipment, and audio recordings of oral histories by members of the Green family and their neighbors.

          Fonds consists of records reflecting James R. McFall’s involvement in a variety of agricultural organizations, which he accumulated as a member of these organizations. These records were not created by McFall in his capacity as the Secretary of the Alberta Federation of Agriculture, and as such do not constitute the official records of the organization. The records in this fonds include scrapbooks of newspaper clippings, handbooks, guidebooks, by-laws, and a photograph. The fonds has been divided into the following series: Scrapbooks and other material; and Publications.

          This fonds consists of two commercially-produced photogravure albums of the Rocky Mountains. The first album consists of a series of 24 hand-coloured photogravures of the Rocky Mountains published by Byron Harmon. The second album consists a selection of 24 artistic views of the Rocky Mountains, originally photographed by Byron Harmon, copyrighted 1915. The photogravures are primarily scenic views of various mountains, lakes, falls, canyons and valleys in the Rocky Mountains, as well as views of Canadian Pacific Railway hotels, and the Banff townsite.

          The fonds also includes images of the University of Alberta experimental farm and its students, a series of images of the haying process near Looma, Alberta from 1925, and an image of an unidentified woman with a Memorial fountain at 104th Street and 81st Avenue in Edmonton.
