The correspondence consists of the personal reflections of Susan Gunn, answering questions posed by Leslie Robinson, and includes information about the establishment of the women's section of the United Farmers of Alberta (UFA) and the early members of the UFWA and the UFA, including Henry Wise Wood and William Irvine.

Fender who was an agent of the United Grain Growers in Camrose, Alberta and includes annual reports, notices, correspondence, radio broadcast transcripts, speeches, telegrams, memorandum, bills of lading, inventories, issues of The UFA, an Edmonton telephone directory, agricultural information bulletins, notices, copies of proceedings of the Alberta Legislative Assembly, photographs depicting an oyster shell deposit and oyster grit manufacturing buildings on the Belly River, near Glenwood, Alberta, and a grain field. Fonds also contains records pertaining to the Pinto Creek Coal Mines in Wembley, Alberta and minutes from a Canadian Trade Committee Meeting held in London in 1950. Accession PR2013.0136 consists of photographs depicting grain elevator construction sites in Fort Macleod and Wayne, Alberta.

The fonds consists of an album compiled in 1963 by the Eastburg local of the Farm Women's Union of Alberta in 1963 its history as well as the history of its successor organizations. The album includes photographs, hand-drawn maps, and textual records.
