Biographical history
Aimée Vicary was born to Edsel Clement Vicary (1881-1956) and Ina Vellette Smith (1887-1937) in 1909. The family homesteaded in Olds, Alberta at the beginning of the twentieth century.
In 1938, Aimée married Charles Hill (1902-1972). They had three children: Dennis Vicary Hill (1939-2021), Shirley Dell (1940), and Marilyn Villette Hill (1943-before 2021). She died in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan in 1993.

The fonds consists of a history of the Eli Beamer Smith family written by Aimée Hill in 1985 and seven photographs featuring a flood in Edmonton that occurred in 1915 taken by an unidentified photographer.

In 1996, the Provincial Archives of Alberta received the material from an anonymous donor.
