            The fonds contains 14 negatives of “Indian Days” at Fort Macleod in 1919-1920, which show numerous people in uniform (soldiers and NWMP) and in various styles of Indigenous regalia. There are also five undated negatives of military personnel and aircraft and one undated negative of the Prince of Wales Hotel under construction in Waterton Park (likely 1927). All of the negatives were taken by Alexander Cochrane Wright.

            The collection also includes an envelope for a 1931 photo order from McDermid Drug Co. Limited (of Calgary, Alberta), and a photograph of the attendees of the NWMP Veterans’ Annual Banquet, held in Calgary, AB in 1925. The banquet took place in the Hudson Bay Company store dining room. This photograph was taken by Collins & Gillies.

            The fonds consists of photographs G. Harrison Villett took and collected featuring images of World War I in France and England including aerial photographs taken for the purposes of mapping, photos of soldiers in trenches, photos of exploding shells, photos of biplanes, and photos of biplane accidents.

            The fonds also include a ticket for a 1913 Dominion Royal Mail Steamers ticket for travel for one adult from Quebec to Edmonton with notes on the back and a photograph of people in front of McDougall United Church, with a label noting it as the McDougall Methodist congregation in 1925, prior to Union.

            The fonds consists of photographs and negatives that depict subjects at No. 32 Elementary Flying Training School in Bowden, Alberta during the Second World War. Many of the subjects are identified and include images of Maria Bojarczuk, her friends, and students from the flight school as well as some local residents. There are extensive images of students, events, buildings, and equipment at the flight school.

            The collection consists of a home video of mountain scenery, waterfalls, and a family on a farm in winter dating from ca. 1932; a film advertising Kodak motion picture film with images of a California Shriner’s parade, aerial shots, a school parade, and a baseball game in Luscar dating from 1932; a film produced by Ducks Unlimited entitled “The Great Duck Factory” dating from ca. 1938; and the first five reels (out of a total of six) of "The Lone Eagle," a 1927 film directed by Emory Johnson about an American pilot's experiences with the Royal Flying Corps in France during the First World War.

            The fonds consists of 67 glass plate slides used for military education. Subjects include gunnery, engines, bombing, aerial photography, navigation, aviation, transport, and engine maintenance dating from 1915-1918. The fonds also contains images of World War I airplanes dating from 1917 – 1918.
