Biographical history
Dr. Albert Crux was born in York, Ontario in 1871. He married Laura Alfretta Wigle (1871-1951) in Essex, Ontario in 1907, and together they had two children: Norman (1910-1990) and Eleanor (Day, Albrecht) (1911-1989).
He practiced medicine in Edmonton for 35 years prior to his death in 1944.
Custodial history
Sandra Field discovered the material in a home she purchased in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Scope and content
The fonds consists of two diplomas inscribed to Albert Crux originating from the Alberta College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1907, and the University of Toronto in 1911.
