The fonds consists of images from 1937 to 1939 of logging on the Freeman River, as well as the operations at the Chisholm Sawmills, and include lumber camps, the transportation of lumber, the loading of a go-devil, log poling, a portable diesel sawmill, a wannigan (floating tent where the men ate and slept), the chief gardener Alex Patton, and a view of Fort Assiniboine.
