            Fonds consists of copied photographs which date from 1912-1923, predominantly 1912-1914, that depict various people, buildings, and views in Athabasca Landing, House River, Vermilion, and Edmonton, Alberta, including boats, railway cars, sawmills, oil field equipment, machinery and workers, log cabins, the Vermilion Baptist church, road and building construction, and Kelsey family members. Fonds also includes two postcards and a copied newspaper clipping about a type of crude oil engine.

            The fonds consists of photographs from their time in Edmonton and includes images of construction workers, buildings under construction, the construction of the 109th street subway (later known as the “Rat Hole”), Grand Trunk Pacific workers and excavation machinery, a trestle bridge and workers, construction of a railway station in Fabyan, Alberta and construction of a building, the Donald Fraser Memorial building, which was possibly located in New Brunswick.

            Fonds consists of copied photographs dating circa (ca.) 1909 to ca. 1932 which mainly depict the construction of the Bassano Dam and other irrigations works in the Headworks of the Eastern Section of the CPR Irrigation District near Bassano, Alberta, and includes images of horse teams, construction workers, timber pylons, main canal construction, railway cars and bridges, various large construction machinery such as excavating machines, bucket dredges and steam shovels, and the interior of the Bassano Dam. Fonds also includes photographs depicting various animals, buildings, farms and agricultural machinery in the Brooks and Bassano, Alberta area, including cows, wheat, alfalpha, flax, and sugar beet fields, wheat stooks, four horse reapers and seeders, barns, houses and other buildings, and the CPR Supply Farm No. 1. Fonds also includes images depicting a diversion weir in Calgary, Alberta, the Red Deer, Alberta badlands, and plans for a cattle self-feeder.
