Scope and content
The series consists of records of the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and that office's successors pertaining to all departmental operations, including those in divisions and branches. The records include correspondence, reports, minutes of meetings, and other records related to field crops, dairy, livestock, agricultural extension, fairs and exhibitions, fur farms, agricultural relief, marketing, engineering, schools of agriculture and vocational colleges, irrigation districts, agricultural societies and boards, as well as the administration of the department. The records may also include some ministerial records interfiled with those of the Deputy Minister.
