The Desk and Derrick Club of Edmonton is an affiliate of the Association of Derrick and Desk Clubs. The Association divides into seven different regions. Clubs of the seventh region include the Alberta Foothills, Edmonton, Southeast Saskatchewan, Grand Mesa, Calgary, Grand Prairie, and Denver.

Edmonton was the first affiliate of the Club. The Club currently accepts individuals employed, affiliated, or retired from petroleum, energy, and allied industries or individuals enrolled in an accredited course of study with a declared major in petroleum and allied industries for membership. A President, First Vice-President, Second Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Immediate Past President, Parliamentarian, and a Board of Directors manage the Club.
