Ecological Reserves are protected areas that preserve and protect very sensitive landscapes in an undisturbed state for scientific research and education. Ecological Reserves are established under the Wilderness Areas, Ecological Reserves, Natural Areas and Heritage Rangelands Act. The records include correspondence, policy documents, reports, and studies that relate to existing Ecological Reserves and proposed ones.
