    Administrative history

    Hillside School District No. 702 was created on May 26, 1902, in the town of Millet, Alberta located at Section 15, Township 47, Range 25, West of the 4th Meridian (15-47-25-W4). The school was closed in 1954 and Ministerial approval for purchase of the school by the local Community Club was granted on March 5, 1965.

    Mrs. Gordon Erickson of the Falun Historical Society deposited these records in the Provincial Archives of Alberta in 1976. Mrs. Erickson’s relationship with the Hillside School District No. 702 is unknown.
