The fonds consists of the records of Alfred Hooke pertaining to his role as Minister of Economic Affairs as well as Provincial Secretary, including records of the Provincial Secretary, Minister of Trade and Industry, and Premier received from his predecessor Ernest Manning when Hooke took office.

The files include correspondence, newspaper clippings, legislation, speeches, reports and other records pertaining to insurance programs, the Social Credit Party, the Post-War Reconstruction Committee, Alberta's official tartan, departmental operations and liaison with other ministers and departments, libraries, the Civil Service Joint Council, immigration, housing, veterans, motor vehicles and highway traffic, fuel oil, amusements, companies, and the Agent-General at Alberta House (London),

The fonds also includes two files from his successor as Provincial Secretary, A. Russell Patrick.

The collection consists of material found in Room A137 of the Provincial Museum and Archives Building in 1969. The collection includes: Edmonton and District Labour Council Annuals published by the Edmonton Trades and Labour Council and the Calgary Labour Council dating from 1951 - 1961; a booklet entitled "Boy Blue's Verses" by Frederick Balmer Watt (1918); the first annual report of the North Alberta Auxiliary of the British and Foreign Bible Society in Canada and Newfoundland (1938); regulations providing for the election of representatives of the Armed Forces (1944); a conference paper presented by Ernest Manning (1945); a booklet entitled "The Magpie Menace" by Kerry Wood; Alberta Public Service pamphlets (1955); informational pamphlets on Alberta's Jubilee Auditoriums of Calgary and Edmonton (1955); a program of the 52nd Annual Meeting of the Historical Society of Alberta (1959); Peace River and District Telephone Directory (1963); copy of the "Tattler" published by the Minus One Club of Edmonton (1955); pamphlets and postcards related to the history of Edmonton circa 1950s; a photo album entitled "The Canadian Pacific Rockies"; 25 photogravures published by Byron Harmon circa 1900; copies of the Raymond Review Aug 3, 1966 and Aug 10, 1966; Vol. 1, No. 1 of the Explorer first centennial edition, Peace River Country (1967); a copy of the Alberta Red Cross News Pictorial Campaign No. 3 (1925); a copy of the Edmonton Journal "Annual Review and Forecast (1967); an illustrated booklet celebrating Alberta's Golden Jubilee; Edmonton Transit System passes dating from the 1960s; and 6 blueprints indicating the construction of streets in Carstairs and Wetaskiwin, Alberta (1906).

The fonds consists of records created and received by Raymond Reierson during his tenure as a provincial cabinet minister. The fonds is divided into the following series:

• Minister of Labour records, including records from his predecessors George Hoadley, William Chant, Ernest Manning, Wallace Cross, and Clarence Gerhart as Minister of Trade and Industry as well as John Robinson and Norman Willmore as Minister of Industries and Labour that Reierson received upon taking office;
• Minister of Education records; and
• Minister of Telephones records.

The fonds consists of the records of Merv Leitch that were created or received during his tenure as a provincial cabinet minister. The fonds includes the following series:

• Attorney General records, including some records of his predecessors Ernest C. Manning and Edgar Gerhart;
• Minister responsible for the Personnel Administration Office; and
• Provincial Treasurer records.

Fond consists of one scrapbook containing newspaper clippings related to the liquor trade, and a number of scrapbooks containing newspaper clippings regarding the Alberta Social Credit Party and William Aberhart. Fonds also includes a report, transcripts of religious radio broadcasts given by William Aberhart and E.C. Manning, a typed manuscript entitled Alberta’s Social Credit Pantomime: Two Years of It, pamphlets regarding the Social Credit Party of Alberta, an index of member’s speeches reported in Canadian papers, and a photograph. Also includes material about Solon E. Low.

The fonds consists of materials documenting the activities of the Alberta Prophetic Bible Institute circa 1926 to 1945 and includes: bulletins; pamphlets; lectures; bylaws; platforms; brochures and pamphlets related to Social Credit theory; and photographs of Ernest Manning speaking at the Institute.

The photographs depict the 1951 Royal Visit, during which Princess Elizabeth (later Queen Elizabeth II) and Prince Phillip visited all the Canadian provinces. The photographs depict their visit to Edmonton in October, and two are labeled on the reverse with the date and people present. In one of these photos where Princess Elizabeth is making an address, Premier Manning and Lieutenant Governor Bowden are also present.

One of the photographs is labeled with “Brander Studios,” and it is likely that the photographs were taken by a photographer who worked there.

The collection consists of clippings from The Edmonton Journal pertaining to the release of Ernest Manning's publication Political Realignment: a Challenge to Thoughtful Canadians in 1967. The creator of the collection is unknown.
