The fonds consists of records related to the personal life and political career of Don Getty. The fonds is divided into the following series:

• Constituency records;
• Minister of Federal and Intergovernmental Affairs records;
• Minister of Energy and Natural Resources records, including records received from his predecessor Bill Dickie as Minister of Mines and Minerals;
• Premier records, including records from his predecessor Peter Lougheed that Getty received upon taking office;
• Personal records; and
• Personal, constituency, and ministerial records.

The fonds consists of the records of Dick Johnston pertaining to his career as a Member of the Legislative Assembly and a provincial cabinet minister. The fonds is divided into the following series:

• Ministerial records, including records from his predecessor Lou Hyndman as Minister of Federal and Intergovernmental Affairs as well as Provincial Treasurer;
• Constituency records; and
• Minister of Municipal Affairs records, including records from his predecessors Alfred Hooke, Edgar Gerhart, Frederick Colborne and David Russell that Johnston received upon taking office

The fonds consists of the records created and received by Jim Horsman during his tenure as an MLA and cabinet minister. The fonds is divided into the following series:

• Minister of Advanced Education and Manpower records, including records received from his predecessor Bert Hohol when Horsman took office;

• Minister of Federal and Intergovernmental Affairs records, including records received from his predecessors Lou Hyndman and Dick Johnston when Horsman took office;

• Attorney General records; and

• Member of Legislative Assembly records.

The fonds consists of the records created and received by Lou Hyndman during his career as a Member of the Legislative Assembly and a cabinet minister. The fonds is divided into the following series:

• Constituency records;
• Minister of Education records, including files received from his predecessors Ivan Casey, Anders Aalborg, Randolph McKinnon, Raymond Reierson, and Bob Clark;
• Minister of Federal and Intergovernmental Affairs records, including files received from his predecessor Don Getty; and
• Provincial Treasurer records.

Fonds consists of the personal records of Ralph Klein including constituency records and ministerial records dating before April 1, 1995. Records created after that date by Klein in his roles as Premier and Minister are deemed to be governmental records.

The fonds has been divided into two series:

• Ministerial records, including records received as Minister of Environment (1989-1992), Minister of Federal and Intergovernmental Affairs (1993-1994), and Minister of Economic Development and Tourism (1994-1995); and
• Constituency records.
