There is also a photograph of the last remaining Northern Alberta Railways engine being removed from the Cromdale Barns to the Alberta Railway Museum site by the Alberta Pioneer Railway Association on 12 October 1975. This was the last APRA engine housed at the Cromdale Barns and it is still part of the APRA holdings on display at the Alberta Railway Museum.

There is also a framed portrait of W.T. Aiken, the first president of the Civil Service Association of Alberta, the predecessor organization to AUPE.

The series consists of records related to the operations of the Alberta-RCMP Century Celebrations Committee, an interdepartmental committee established to promote the centenary of the arrival of the Northwest Mounted Police (NWMP) in 1873. The records include correspondence, reports, minutes of meetings, grant application forms, a final report summarizing the Committee's outcomes, and other records related to projects and promotional items. The records include audio-visual recordings such as "The Birds of Winter," the 1976 film regarding the arrival of the NWMP and the signing of Treaty 7 that was produced by the Committee.

Lost in Another World is a short film project created by students at the Alberta School for the Deaf with the assistance of Alex and other Edmonton-based filmmakers such as Lorna Thomas and Karen Wall. In addition to the edited version of Lost in Another World, there are also two reels of elements from the same project.

Joe’s films include The Conversation (a short film about a night in the life of two couples who have just met) and Before the Last War (an experimental film about nuclear war).

These two items were interfiled with Rutherford’s papers when they were deposited in the Provincial Archives of Alberta in 1975. They probably belonged to a member of Rutherford’s family and so were maintained within accession PR1975.0518.

The fonds contains 14 negatives of “Indian Days” at Fort Macleod in 1919-1920, which show numerous people in uniform (soldiers and NWMP) and in various styles of Indigenous regalia. There are also five undated negatives of military personnel and aircraft and one undated negative of the Prince of Wales Hotel under construction in Waterton Park (likely 1927). All of the negatives were taken by Alexander Cochrane Wright.

The fonds consists of French military papers, financial records of the St-Vincent Roman Catholic parish and general store, a booklet in French on teaching French in Alberta, an unpublished handwritten novel in French, original articles and research notes handwritten by Alexandre Mahé, correspondence in French with the Franco-Albertan and French elite in Edmonton in the 1930s as well as with family, various newspapers in French holding articles written by Alexandre Mahé or collected by him, and Bulletins France Libre published during World War II. Also included is a list of parishioners of the Saint-Vincent parish and a map covering a region in Africa where Alexandre Mahé spent 12 years.

Récit du Nord-Ouest canadien", by Alex Michelet, and four b&w photographs taken on the trail to La Calmette and at the family farm in Alberta. The novel depicts the life of a young teacher who establishes herself in a small community at Grande Coulée (today, Big Coulee) at the beginning of the Twentieth century and the life of French homesteaders in Alberta.

The fonds consists of copied images, originally dating circa (ca.) 1940 to 1955, predominantly 1950 to 1955, of sawmill operations on the Sunchild First Nation Reserve #202, and at Porcupine Hills, Alder Flats and Wenham Valley; the images include portable sawmills, logging trucks, camps, the hauling and loading of logs, as well as bridge construction over the North Saskatchewan River near the mouth of the Brazeau River, the Evangelical Mission Covenant Church and students in Winfield, Wenham Valley students, gravel loading at Buck Creek, the Sundre Stampede Rodeo, and a milk truck accident in Edmonton.

The photographic records in the fonds include photographs, negatives, and slides from members of the Alfrey family, including Edward and Winnifred Peterson and of earlier ancestors of the family. There are many photographs from Rita’s brother, Eric Peterson. These photographs depict family and friends, property, and his vacations. Many of the photographs have not been labeled, making identification difficult.

There are multiple textual records from Winnifred Peterson, including copies of her self-published biography and poetry books. The records also include draft and work copies of the chapters and poems included in her books, as well as hand-written stories and reminiscences that were considered for the books.

The fonds also contain scrapbooks from Dar Alfrey’s time with the Edmonton Rotary Club, which contain many textual and photographic records. Other textual records include a Golden Jubilee Alberta award given to Bernard Alfrey, the wedding certificate of Bernard and Martha, hairdressing and beauty culture certificates given to Lucy Jean Moe Brunner, and teaching records of Martha Alfrey.

Also included are nine colour, silent 8mm films of the Alfrey family's home movies filmed by the father, Dar Alfrey. Subjects include views of Alberta communities such as Carstairs, Edmonton, Wetaskiwin, Banff, Medicine Hat, Taber, Calgary, Claresholm, and Jasper. They also include such subjects as the sugar beet factory in Taber, the Calgary Zoo, Storyland Valley Zoo in Edmonton, the Al Oeming Game Farm, and Alfrey family events such as birthdays, weddings, vacations and Christmas. These films start from the time the family was living in Bow Island in 1957 and end after their return to Edmonton in 1968.

The fonds consists of a single diary, approximately 220 pages in length, handwritten by Alice Gee from January 1, 1901 to August 20, 1902. It provides detail on rural life in the Strathcona area of the North-West Territories in the early 20th century, as well as lists of letters sent and received by the author, newspapers received, attendees at social functions, and dates of frost at the author’s farm.

The fonds consists of materials reflecting the life of Alice Gertrude Bannerman and includes a booklet of verses Alice Gertrude Bannerman composed in honor of Canada's centennial in 1967; an oral history recording of Alice Gertrude Bannerman recalling her father's (Bishop William Day Reeve) life and role as Bishop of Mackenzie River; and copies of issues No. 1 and No. 3 of the first newspaper in Athabasca Landing, the Northern Light dating from 1908.

The fonds consists of interviews by Alice Trottier with Franco-Albertan pioneers, and with Julien LeBlanc, E.O. Druin, and Maurice Lavallée (ca. 12 hours of recordings), a photocopy of a map from 1888, eight photographs of Mgr. Legal, Filles de Jésus sisters and buildings; personal papers and administrative papers of the Salon d'histoire franco-albertaine.

Collection consists of an undated town site map and lot pricelist for the Townsite of Lignite, Alberta, a newspaper clipping about Tail Creek, Alberta dated 1953, an undated pamphlet published by the Alix Board of Trade, and photographs depicting various people and views of Alix, Alberta dating 1905-1976.

The fonds consists of ten images, dating 1884 to 1919, relating to Plamondon, Alberta, and depicting various members of the Plamondon family (including Joseph Plamondon), settlers, the first election, fishing, soap making, farming, plowing, buildings, and a wedding photograph. There is also a booklet, 1908-1958: Jubilé d'Or, Plamondon, Golden Jubilee.
