    Administrative history

    The Kerndale Community Society began as the Kerndale Community Club on March 9, 1935 in Berwyn, Alberta. The purpose for the club was to build and support a community hall for all community purposes. The club was registered under the Societies Act in 1944 at which time it became the Kerndale Community Society. It continued to function for 24 years until it was dissolved at the end of December 1968.
