    Biographical history

    Margaret Wyllie was born in Edmonton, Alberta on July 18, 1921. Her father, originally from Scotland, was a mason by trade and worked on the scrollwork on the Rossdale Power Plant.

    Margaret attended Norwood Elementary and East Glen High School. Margaret worked as a bookkeeper for Harvey Porter's company and owned land near Devil's Lake. Margaret married David Milner in Edmonton in 1951, and together they had a son, David Keith.

    Margaret passed away in Edmonton in 1999.

    Custodial history

    Records were purchased at a family garage sale in the spring of 2002.

    Scope and content

    The fonds consists of an autograph book given to Margaret in 1930 by her grandfather who lived in Scotland. The item includes some sketches and artwork as well as documents common salutations popular at the time.
