    Biographical history

    Raymond Sévigny was born October 23, 1936 in Saint-Albert, Alberta. He was trained at Saint-Joseph's Seminary in Edmonton, Alberta, and was ordained June 2, 1962.

    He worked as associate pastor in Edmonton at Immaculée-Conception, in Camrose, Alberta and in Edmonton at Saint-Andrew's. He then became the pastor at Saint-Thomas d'Aquin in Edmonton from 1967 until 1973, and then Immaculée-Conception in Edmonton from 1973. In 1996, Reverend Sévigny returned to Saint-Thomas d'Aquin.

    The fonds consists of two LP records of French Canadian choirs, including "Le Vendredi-Saint Aujourd'hui" by the Immaculée-Conception parish choir and "Les Chantamis… Dix Ans" by Chantamis, directed by Leonard Rousseau.
