            Fonds consists of a microfilm copy of a scrapbook compiled by E.H. Gowan containing records that pertain to the radio show, Science Question Box, which Gowan participated in. The records date from October 8, 1935 to January 15, 1937 and include a scrapbook with newspaper clippings and correspondence, which includes the questions asked of Gowan, and the answers he provided.

            The fonds consists of administrative records, founding documents and bylaws, correspondence, and photographs created by various members of the ESA’s Board and Committees. Records include meeting minutes, agendas, AGM programs, financial documents, entomological research, membership lists, and committee reports. There are several published pamphlets and newsletters written by ESA members and their affiliate groups. There are also several records related to the ESA’s involvement in community entomology events within the collection, such as the centennial celebration of Entomology in Canada (1953).

            The fonds consists largely of textual records associated with the Edmonton Space & Science Foundation and Franklin Loehde’s association and work with the foundation. These records include results of NASA database searches, event brochures and information packages, committee minutes and agendas, financial reporting and planning, and a wide variety of correspondence (such as with the board and executive, with members of the foundation, to representatives of the air force, on events, and on fundraising and scholarships).

            The textual records also include, among several other topics, the proposal for a planetarium as an Alberta 75 project, an organizational review of the science centre, copies of In Focus and Explorations (both published by the foundation), cash flow and financial sheets, and resource and information packets on stars and the solar system.

            Other records include several astronomy-related prints and artwork, the text labels for those prints, a map of the moon, photographs of equipment and the centre, and a letter and poster commemorating the opening of the science centre.

            The textual records in the fonds are composed of minutes and agendas of the Edmonton branch and of the General Assembly, correspondence to and from society members, copies of the society bylaws (amended over the society’s existence), event scripts and planning notes, ads meant to be read on the radio, and proposals and financials from casino funds.

            Also included are collected histories of the early years of RASC, membership reports and lists, income and expenditures summaries, publications of Stardust (a publication of the society), clippings of Astronomically Speaking (written by Franklin Loehde in the 1950s), and survey results.

            The fonds also include a map of the moon, audio and video recordings of speakers and events, sunspot and other astronomical feature tracking charts, several academic papers written by previous members of the society, posterboards advertising the society and its activities, and a Stardust video on using binoculars for the night sky.

            Fonds consists of records created by Kunda in his capacity as a scientist and inventor in Alberta, and reflect his activities during his career with Sherritt Gordon and later with the University of Alberta. The records were arranged by documentary forms by Vera Kunda and include patents, correspondence, scientific articles, photographs, and reports. There are also records pertaining to Wasyl Kunda and his involvement in the Shevchenko Scientific Society and Alberta Commemorative Society.
