Fonds consists of photographs depicting the Legislative building, the High Level Bridge, and Borden Park Pool in Edmonton, Alberta. Also includes photographs of the Grönland-Wal airplane.

The fonds consists of the business records of the Grimshaw and District Swim Pool Association, including correspondence to Harold C. Sisson from 1954 and 1955 investigating the possibility of constructing a swimming pool in Peace River, Alberta, as well as a certificate of incorporation, bylaws, minutes, meeting attendance lists, reports, correspondence, newspaper clippings and financial statements relating to the Grimshaw Swimming Pool Association, Grimshaw and District Swim Pool Association and Grimshaw District Youth Ice and Pool Association.

The collection consists of nine 1930s "sceneograph" photographs and the postcard envelop that contained the photographs, made by the Gowen Sutton Company (Co.) Limited (Ltd.) of Vancouver, British Columbia. The photographs feature various locations in Edmonton including the Alberta Legislature, the High Level Bridge, the Low Level Bridge, the Hotel MacDonald, the river valley, downtown Edmonton, 100th Street, Jasper Avenue, and Riverside Park swimming pool (later renamed Queen Elizabeth Pool).

The fonds consists of a photograph of a swimming pool in 1923 located in the southside of Edmonton, Alberta owned by Ellen D. Sorlie.
