    Biographical history

    Guy and Addie Williams and their children Edna, Evelyn and George, traveled from Red Earth, North Dakota to Lacombe, Alberta in 1911, and then moved to Castor, Alberta, purchasing land near Lanes Lake. Edna married Martin Larson, and had four children, Laurence, Elvin, Laura and Sylvia.

    Evelyn and George both returned to the United States. Sylvia married Harold Miller.

    The fonds consists of short stories by Sylvia Miller, about her grandparents journey to Alberta, homesteading and life on the Prairies.
