          The fonds consists of records for ACCESS TV programs and series over the course of the station's history, including records transferred from the publicly-owned Alberta Educational Communications Corporation when ACCESS TV was privatized. There are audiovisual records as well as textual records that consist of educational material designed to complement the educational programming. There are also microfiche that contain scans of production files for nearly 300 ACCESS TV productions.

          The fonds consists of the records of the Alberta Educational Communications Corporation, which operated ACCESS TV from its establishment in 1973 until the television channel was privatized in 1995. The files include the records of:

          • the President and Chief Executive Officer, such as policies, procedures, correspondence, minutes of meetings, and other records pertaining to the Corporation's Board of Directors, the Alberta Educational Communications Authority, day to day operations, programs, programming and other activities;

          • the Legal Department, including contracts, agreements, policies, regulations, opinions, decisions, and rulings; and

          • the Production Department, comprising completed productions (including dramatized recordings of famous Alberta law cases heard over CKUA) as well as project case files containing budgets, correspondence, scripts, and other related records.

          The fonds consists of News and Air checks (news excerpts including commercials, but no complete news programs), documentaries (original, final and outs, including CFRN anniversaries, 1978 Commonwealth Games, etc.), Stock Shots of Communities in Alberta, Personalities, and various other subjects, and Dan Kauffman documentaries; the textual and photographic records are comprised of those from the program "Sunday Visit" and of records compiled regarding the history of the Sunwapta Broadcasting Company, G.R.A. Rice, and CFRN (both television and radio).

          The fonds consists of film footage of CITV, Edmonton and includes local Edmonton footage, specifically final productions and film elements of commercials, news, sports, telecast film clips and documentaries. The records have been arranged into the following series: Fort McMurray, City of Edmonton and Klondike Days promotions, Calgary Stampede promotions, News, 1976 Federal Progressive Conservative Leadership Contest, Commercials, Sports, Entertainment, Careers, Miscellaneous, City of Edmonton (various projects), Snow Fighters, To Serve our City, Edmonton LRT construction and operation, Art Sale, Orphans of Mount Yamnuska (feature length film) and Operation Morning Light.

          The records in accession PR2015.1467 consist of recordings of CITV productions and programs aired on CITV from the 1970s to the early 2000s. These include news programs focusing on Edmonton and Alberta issues, programming on a wide variety of topics including entertainment and current events, commercials, documentaries, and CITV promotional material. Topics covered include politics, interviews with Alberta premiers, sports, Indigenous issues, comedy, music, and local news. Prominent titles include Native Heritage, Natives in the 90s, Alberta This Week, First Nations Now, SCTV, Company’s Coming, and many more.

          The textual records consist of shot lists of camera tapes used in the production of a CITV documentary on the Hotel MacDonald, as well as shooting scripts for Healing Hands, a documentary on CITV founder Dr. Charles Allard.
