This fonds consists of two commercially-produced photogravure albums of the Rocky Mountains. The first album consists of a series of 24 hand-coloured photogravures of the Rocky Mountains published by Byron Harmon. The second album consists a selection of 24 artistic views of the Rocky Mountains, originally photographed by Byron Harmon, copyrighted 1915. The photogravures are primarily scenic views of various mountains, lakes, falls, canyons and valleys in the Rocky Mountains, as well as views of Canadian Pacific Railway hotels, and the Banff townsite.

The fonds also includes images of the University of Alberta experimental farm and its students, a series of images of the haying process near Looma, Alberta from 1925, and an image of an unidentified woman with a Memorial fountain at 104th Street and 81st Avenue in Edmonton.

The fonds consists of records created by Vera Kunda in her capacity as a librarian as the Coordinator and Periodicals Librarian in the Science and Technology Library and her various roles in the Ukrainian community organizations such as the Alberta Commemorative Society, the Ukrainian Catholic Women’s League of Canada and World Federation of Ukrainian Women’s Organizations and reflect her activities during her career with University of Alberta and her community activities. There are also some records of Irene Pawlykowsky (Vera’s mother) which Vera kept after her mother’s death in 1975. These records reflect the activities of Irene Pawlykowky in the Ukrainian community.

The fonds consists of registration and dissolution documents, constitutions, bylaws, contracts, agreements, membership information, grievance files, policy documents, minutes, agendas, reports, correspondence, executive files, news releases, faculty handbooks, negotiation documents, committee documents, and files related to the merger of Augustana with the University of Alberta and the subsequent merger of AUCFA members with the Association of Academic Staff.

The collection consists of pamphlets, posters, articles, and clippings from a variety of political and activist groups. There are informational pamphlets from the Black Panther Party and the Young Communist League; anti-Vietnam War pamphlets, leaflets, and posters from a Canadian perspective; articles and pamphlets focusing on anti-racism; pamphlets and posters for candidates from multiple parties in the Strathcona and Beverly ridings during the 1971 provincial election; posters and informational material related to the University of Alberta Students’ Union debate to re-join the Canadian Union of Students in 1968; and other material related to the student movement.

The fonds consists of material created or collected by both Cy and Mary Hampson and records from Cymar Films.

The fonds consists of records that were created and maintained by Claudette and Denis Tardif which document their entire careers from the early 1970’s to 2018.

These records consist of a copy of Fires of Spring on 16mm film and a DVD copy of the same title. Fires of Spring is a 1978 documentary produced by the University of Alberta about the use of controlled fires for agricultural management. The film specifically focuses on the use of controlled fires by First Nations people in northern Alberta and features interviews with members of the Cree, Beaver, Dene, and Chipewyan nations regarding the traditional use of fire in land management. The film also features several University of Alberta faculty members discussing the importance of the practice.

The fonds consists of photographs of the Lewis family and sites around Claresholm, Calgary, Banff, and other sites in Alberta. There are also photographs of student events and accommodations at the University of Alberta.

The collection consists of photographs of the Edmonton Flyers hockey team, Edmonton Chimos hockey team, Vimy Bantam hockey team, Edmonton Waterloo Mercurys hockey team, the University of Alberta hockey team, Clarence Campbell, and the Calgary Canadians Juniors hockey team.

The fonds consists of records that pertain to the activities of performing arts groups in Edmonton from the late 1960s into the twenty-first century including Alberta Contemporary Dance Theatre, Dance Alberta, Brian Webb Dance Company, the Arts Administration Resource Centre, Orchesis Dance Society, Theatre 3, the Citadel Theatre, Ukrainian Shumka Dancers, and Alberta Ballet.

The textual records consist of correspondence, show programs, posters, informational booklets, newspaper clippings, scripts, choreographic illustrations, show production notes, costume inventories, newsletters, budgets, meeting minutes, meeting agendas, costume mock-ups, news releases, conference programs, souvenir booklets, committee reports, statements of expense, rent payment schedules, and course listings. The other materials are audio and music recordings and tapings of Alberta Contemporary Dance Theatre performances.

The fonds consists of research files on topics such as education, economic development, and child poverty that were compiled and used by Pannu during his time as an MLA; NDP documents such as campaign literature and policy documents; campaign files for Pannu’s election campaigns including volunteer lists, campaign literature, and speaking notes for public appearances; tributes to Pannu received when he retired from politics; papers written by Pannu as a student and faculty member; and university faculty documents such as grant applications, performance evaluations, tenure applications, and committee files. There is also a copy of The Sikh Canadians, a history of Sikh communities in Canada written by Manmohan Singh Minhas, with an author’s inscription to Pannu.

The photographs depict Pannu at public events during his career as an MLA and the audiovisual records consist of tributes to Pannu created at the end of his political career and a copy of the swearing-in of NDP MLAs in 1997.

The series consists of records accumulated and created by Stinson during her time as a faculty member in the University of Alberta's Faculty of Nursing. The records include correspondence, course syllabi and outlines, reports, proposals, and documents related to the creation of the Master's of Nursing program at the University of Alberta.
