              The fonds contains 14 negatives of “Indian Days” at Fort Macleod in 1919-1920, which show numerous people in uniform (soldiers and NWMP) and in various styles of Indigenous regalia. There are also five undated negatives of military personnel and aircraft and one undated negative of the Prince of Wales Hotel under construction in Waterton Park (likely 1927). All of the negatives were taken by Alexander Cochrane Wright.

              The collection also includes an envelope for a 1931 photo order from McDermid Drug Co. Limited (of Calgary, Alberta), and a photograph of the attendees of the NWMP Veterans’ Annual Banquet, held in Calgary, AB in 1925. The banquet took place in the Hudson Bay Company store dining room. This photograph was taken by Collins & Gillies.

              Fonds consists of four completed film productions, elements and cue sheets for the Alberta television series, Heading Out: 1.Cy Hampson Wilderness 2.Country Vacations and Lakeland Area 3.North Forestry 4.Backpacking Also includes outtakes and raw footage of subjects such as coal mining and tree nursery operations, roadside signs, ferries, bridges, the Lethbridge Japanese garden, and the Prince of Wales Hotel at Waterton.

              The fonds consists of images of the Athabasca area dating from the 1930s and the 1940s, and Clergy at Dunvegan in 1935, the Clergy at St. John's Anglican church at Fort McMurray in 1936, and a booklet and clipping commemorating the career of Reverend Frank Edward Smith. The fonds also includes 47 postcards collected by the Smith's as well as a souvenir booklet from Waterton, Alberta dating from the 1950s and a souvenir booklet of the Rocky Mountains dating from the 1940s featuring 24 hand tinted photogravures.

              Fonds consist of a photograph depicting the North West Mounted Police (NWMP) barracks in Calgary, Alberta dated 1910, and an undated article entitled History of the Establishment of the Chief Parks along the Main Line of the Canadian Pacific Railway, Waterton Lakes Park in Southern Alberta and Jasper Park along the Canadian National Railway in the neighbourhood of Yellowhead Pass in the Rocky Mountains, written by William Pearce.

              The fonds consists of films from the 1930s and 1940s of H.R. MacLean's trips to the Rocky Mountains including footage of Tonquin, Sunshine Lodge, Mount Athabasca, the Columbia Icefields, Mount Fitzwilliam, Little Yoho, Banff and Lake O'Hara. The fonds also includes maps of Jasper Park, Banff Park, Waterton Lakes Park, North West Alberta, northern and southern Alberta and the County of Strathcona.
