    Administrative history

The Wild Rose Agricultural Producers was established in 1996. The Wild Rose Agricultural Producers strives to represent its members at the regional, provincial and national level for the benefit of all producers. It works to create an atmosphere of cooperation and communication to ensure that areas of common concern among all producers are dealt with to the benefit of agriculture as a whole.

In 1996, Unifarm was reorganized as the Wild Rose Agricultural Producers, a producer-focused organization. Unifarm was created from an amalgamation of the Farmers' Union of Alberta and the Alberta Federation of Agriculture in 1970. The Farmers' Union had been created in 1949 from an amalgamation of the United Farmers of Alberta and the Alberta Farmers' Union. The Wild Rose Agricultural Producers is run by a president, two vice presidents, an executive director, and a board of directors.
